dissimilar collision


some take.
some prefer dialogue
and some, slight risk.
some have lives that resemble
a slow pour of rich cream.
who should they thank?
cracks in sky and moon,
in hours that harbor thieves,
in years where payment was slowly
extracted for mistake,
in fear and hustle,
bones and fields,
in the ruin of time that amasses
in such quick exhalation.
